KODA, your AI engineering partner
You build it. We hold the rope.
KODA lets you build your own software with AI. An experienced Rocksoft engineer stays next to you and reviews every change before it goes live.

Who is this for
Rated 4.9 on Clutch. If any of this sounds familiar, you're in the right place.
Inherited code nobody wants to touch? Start with a Code Audit
The route
Five steps from idea to live feature.
Tell Claude what you want in plain language, the way you would explain it to a colleague.
The KODA plugin turns your request into a well-formed task in your own repository, so nothing gets lost in translation.
Claude writes the code, following the rules set up for your project.
A Rocksoft engineer checks each change for security, quality and fit with your business before it can ship.
Approved changes are released. Nothing ships without a human sign-off.

The AI coding tools got impressive fast. Lovable, Bolt, Cursor, Claude Code: you can ship a working prototype in an afternoon. But if you've tried to take one of those prototypes to production, you already know the problem. The code works, until real users show up. Then it breaks in ways the AI can't fix, because the AI was never designed to think about architecture, security, or what happens at scale.
The alternative is a traditional agency. Real engineers, real quality, but six-month timelines and $100K budgets that most founders can't justify.
Nobody was combining the two. AI speed with engineering judgment. That's the gap we decided to fill.

Safety checks
Built into every Rocksoft engagement, so nothing reaches your customers unchecked.
Human review
An engineer reviews every change before it goes live. Nothing ships without sign-off.
Security checks
We look for what AI often misses: missing login checks, exposed keys, open database access and made-up software packages.
KODA is Rocksoft's AI engineering partner service. You describe a feature in plain language in Claude. The KODA plugin turns it into a well-formed task in your repository, AI writes the code, and a Rocksoft engineer reviews every change before it goes live. You build it. We hold the rope.
Because "working" and "production-ready" are completely different things. When Escape.tech scanned 5,600 publicly available apps built with AI app builders, it found more than 2,000 vulnerabilities (Escape.tech). These apps were live and running. That is the gap between a demo and a real product: security hardening, error handling, edge cases, deployment pipelines and monitoring. We exist to close that gap. Our Discovery Workshop establishes production-grade architecture before any code is generated, and every change undergoes human review before going live.
When you use AI tools on your own, you're the one generating the code and the one checking it. And the checking often does not happen: in Sonar's 2026 survey of 1,149 developers, only 48% said they always check their AI-assisted code before committing it (Sonar, State of Code Developer Survey 2026). Our model separates those roles. AI generates. You direct the vision. A Rocksoft engineer reviews every change before it reaches production. This isn't an add-on or an optional step. It's the core of what we do. Nothing ships without human approval. KODA works with Claude.
They can, when there's no architecture behind them. GitClear analysed 211 million changed lines of code and found that refactoring fell from 25% of changed lines in 2021 to under 10% in 2024, while copy-pasted code grew (GitClear, 2025). We solve this in the Discovery Workshop by defining the architecture, coding standards, and component boundaries before any AI writes a single line of code. The AI then works within those constraints, and our engineers enforce consistency during every review. The result is a codebase that any qualified developer can pick up and understand. Not spaghetti assembled from random prompts.
It certainly feels that way, but the evidence is less clear than the claim. In a 2025 randomized trial of 16 experienced open-source developers, METR found they took 19% longer with AI tools, even though they believed they were 20% faster. METR has since said those results are out of date, and its early-2026 follow-up could not give a reliable estimate either, because developers increasingly refuse to work without AI. Whatever the exact number, writing code is only part of the work: the time saved generating it can be eaten up by reviewing, debugging and fixing what the AI produced. Our model captures the real speed advantage of AI (fast feature drafting from plain language) while engineers handle review, testing and deployment, so the gains actually stick.
Those stories are real. The same Escape.tech scan of 5,600 publicly available apps built with AI app builders also found more than 400 exposed secrets, such as keys and passwords, sitting in publicly reachable code (Escape.tech). This happens because AI optimizes for "does it run?" not "is it safe?" Our engineers specifically check for the patterns AI consistently misses: missing authentication, exposed credentials, permissive database access, and hallucinated dependencies. That human security layer is the difference between a prototype and a product your customers can actually trust.
